Mariana Gaspar holds an undergraduate degree in Art History from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, where she is reading for a Master’s degree in Art and Heritage. She is currently a team member in the project “The Heritage of the University of Coimbra. (In)visible sculptures in the University Palace (seventeenth and eighteenth centuries)”.

Main interests and research topics: Portuguese Art; Modern Age; Baroque Art; Catholic Reformation; Sculpture; Iconography.
