Jorge Prata is a PhD student in Medieval History and holds a Master’s degree in Medieval History and Heritage Studies. He is a History professor in the Dona Inês de Castro secondary school, Alcobaça.

Main interests and research topics: Medieval History, focusing on issues of power, justice and law; Funerary Art in the Middle Ages; Heritage theory; Restoration policy(ies) of the DGEMN (Directorate-General of National Buildings and Monuments); Photography and Image Theory; Shoah (the Holocaust).
