Ariel Guiance

Ariel Guiance, PhD in History, is the lead investigator of the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas (CONICET) and also professor of Medieval history in the University of Córdoba, Argentina. He has been the director of the Instituto Multidisciplinario de Historia y Ciencias Humanas of CONICET between 2004 and 2019. He has both directed and participated in several investigation projects around the world. He is also a member of the Academica Portuguesa da Historia and the Société des Antiquaires de France. Guiance has written numerous scientific papers referring to the cultural and religious history of Castilla and Portugal during the Middle Ages.
