Ana Margarida Dias da Silva, integrated researcher at CHSC, had her project “Guidelines for creating 3D Tactile Models for Universities’ Archival Heritage for Blind and Partially Sighted” approved by the Programme Commission (PCOM) 2026 and funded by the International Council on Archives (ICA). The project has the support of the ICA’s Section on University and Research Institution Archives (SUV) and will run for 12 months. The project team includes Caroline Brown (president of the ICA’s Section on University and Research Institution Archives and archivist at the University of Dundee, Scotland), Anne-Flore Laloë (archivist at EUMETSAT, Germany), Ana Paula Piedade (Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra), Ellen Oredsoon (archivist at the National Archives of the United Kingdom), and Luís Barata (jurist at the Integration and Counselling Centre of the University of Coimbra and member of the governing bodies of ACAPO).
