Elen Biguelini holds a PhD in Advanced Studies in History from the University of Coimbra, a Master’s degree in Feminist Studies from the same university and an undergraduate degree in History from the Federal University of Paraná. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Design, specialising in Fashion, from the Tuituti University of Paraná. Currently, she works as a researcher and writer. She is part of the organising committee for the Mulheres na História, na Literatura e nas Artes (Women in History, Literature and the Arts) Seminars, currently in its third edition, and co-manages the @herstoryside Instagram page, focused on the History of Women (especially in Brazil).

Main interests and research topics: Women writers; Women as historical agents; gender history; feminist literary criticism and interdisciplinary studies.
