Cooperation
To conduct many of the activities it promotes or in which it participates, the CHSC has cooperated in various manners with different public and private institutions of the civil society. This collaboration is expressed in the organization of seminars or colloquia and conferences, in the participation in projects, in the publication of works and other initiatives, and in the elaboration of protocols, partnerships or other types of associations.

CENTER OF STUDIES OF LOCAL AND REGIONAL HISTORY SALVADOR DIAS ARNAUT
This Center of Studies, based in Penela, aims to meet the challenges posed by the growing need to know the past of the territorial communities, offering a unique center for research, with direct access to a specialized library and an integrated set of resources for the study of local Portuguese history
Among its scientific activity, special mention should be made of the organization, in partnership with the CHSC, of the Permanent Seminar of Local and Regional History, on a monthly basis, and of Workshops and Colloquia. These initiatives are aimed at transferring knowledge to the civil society, namely to secondary school teachers.

CROSSDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH CENTER «CULTURE, SPACE AND MEMORY»(CITCEM) AND INTERDISCIPLINARY CENTER OF HISTORY, CULTURES AND SOCIETIES (CIDEHUS)
Joint publication of a book (”In Thirteen Cantos. A Female Epic in a monastic site. Memorial of the Miracles of Christ by Maria de Mesquita Pimentel”), organized and with a preface written by three researchers (one from each center), with the collaboration of MA and PhD students, within the scope of an ongoing non-funded project.
RESEARCH GROUP O SÉCULO DE OURO / EL SIGLO DE ORO (GRISO)
Partnership with the Research Group O Século de Ouro / El Siglo de Oro (GRISO), of the University of Navarra (Spain), directed by Doctor Ignacio Arellano for the joint publication of the 2015 issue of the Journal of History of Society and Culture on the subject of O Século de Ouro / El Siglo de Oro (The Spanish Golden Age).
